Leonard Lowy & Co. was set up by Leonard Lowy in January 1999 after a varied career as a partner in a West End firm of media solicitors, a number of years as in-house Legal Director at a major record and music company and a successful spell in artist management.
Leonard’s front-line record company and artist management background enables the firm to offer practical and pro-active solutions in the music field, born of first hand experience.
The firm has a simple aim: to provide high quality legal and business advice at an affordable price.
The day to day work of the firm involves, on the music side, advising individual and corporate clients on all aspects of their involvement in the world of music and, on the general business side, providing expert advice and dealing with commercial transactions, affairs and situations of all kinds, whatever the nature of the business.

In all cases, the work is carried out by experienced solicitors, and is not delegated to junior or unqualified staff.
We have arrangements and connections with independent law firms in North America, Europe and elsewhere, enabling us to obtain local assistance and advice as and where required.
We are flexible on payment arrangements. We understand and appreciate that clients are sometimes anxious about the uncertainty of traditional ‘hourly rates’. We always give an estimate before commencing work, and, wherever possible we will try to agree a fixed price with you for a specific job, with a view to avoiding any nasty surprises.
