Leonard Lowy appointed as a Trustee of JMI

Leonard has been appointed as a Trustee of the Jewish Music Institute, in its 40th anniversary year.

JMI is an independent arts organisation, a registered charity (no. 328228), based at SOAS, University of London. It spans both ancient and contemporary global Jewish music, making it relevant to today’s mainstream British cultural, academic and social life through a broad range of performances and educational programmes.

Leonard says: “Having helped JMI with a number of projects over the years, it is an honour to have been asked to join the board of Trustees, especially at this significant milestone in its proud history, and I look forward to continuing and expanding that connection.”
